The children in Year 4 are really enjoying the new topic on Egypt. I have been really impressed with some of the work that has been sent in so far. This week they were set the challenge of finding out about the mummification process. This involved performing their own mummification on a tomato. I’m looking forward to hearing how they get on in a few weeks time when they complete the process. There have also been some great cartouches created and some pyramids.

Well done to Stanley, who made a great set of instructions for the mummification process.  Maria, who made a fabulous pyramid. Jasmine, who did an excellent map of Egypt. Poppy who made some delicious looking soup and Darshika and Peter who did some great cartouches using hieroglyphics.
